Pay: $56,972.00 per year

Shift: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm

Location: Lake Ozark, Missouri

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Middle and High School Math Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to helping students succeed. With small class sizes, you will have the opportunity to provide individualized attention and tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of our students.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with individual student needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance student understanding and interest in math.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and families.
  • Collaborate with therapeutic staff to support the holistic development of students.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and other school activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
  • Valid teaching certification for middle and high school mathematics.
  • Experience working with adolescents, preferably in a therapeutic or special education setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Must pass a state and federal background check
  • Must pass a physical and drug screen
