From assessing student health concerns and administering medications to accompanying students to medical appointments and coordinating lab work, you’ll play a critical role in their healing journey. Responsibilities

  • Patient Care & Assessments: Provide comprehensive medical care, respond to health concerns, and determine appropriate treatment.
  • Medication & Narcotics Management: Accurately administer medications, track narcotics, and ensure compliance with prescribed schedules.
  • Medical Coordination: Accompany students to medical appointments, facilitate lab draws, and communicate findings to parents and the care team.
  • Health Monitoring: Regularly check and record vital signs, observe mood and behavior, and document all relevant medical information.
  • Compliance & On-Call Support: Maintain strict confidentiality, adhere to HIPAA standards, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Active RN/LPN License in Missouri (pediatric certification preferred).
  • Strong clinical skills (assessments, medication management, vitals monitoring).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide empathetic care.
  • Experience with adolescents (preferred but not required).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
  • Candidates must be prepared to establish a CAQH profile and obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) as part of the onboarding process.
