Certified Teacher

Pay Range: $43,500.00 - $56,500.00 per year for 12 month School Year

Location: Onsite in Lake Ozark, MO

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm

• Create and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.

• Provide trauma-informed instruction and individualized support to meet each student’s academic and emotional needs.

• Monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, and assess performance through assignments, tests, and classwork.

• Maintain accurate records, gradebooks, and required reports in compliance with school policies and regulations.

• Establish and enforce clear classroom rules and procedures to support a safe, respectful learning environment.

• Effectively integrate relevant technology and instructional materials to enhance student learning.

• Communicate regularly with parents, attend scheduled events, and respond promptly to emails and school communications.

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field and a valid teaching certification 
• Preferred: Special Education certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Preferred: Experience teaching in an educational facility with grades 3-7
• Demonstrated understanding of the emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges students may face, with the ability to teach and motivate accordingly.

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills; able to collaborate effectively with therapists, nurses, and other professionals while modeling calm, confident leadership.

• Trained or willing to be trained in CPI techniques to safely support students in crisis when necessary.

• Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a criminal background check as required by school policy.
