Certified Teacher
Pay Range: $43,500.00 - $56,500.00 per year for 12 month School Year
Location: Onsite in Lake Ozark, MO
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm

At Calo Programs, we serve students who may have struggled in traditional schools due to learning disabilities, anxiety, or other challenges. With class sizes of just 6–10 students, you’ll provide individualized instruction that promotes academic success and emotional growth. Most of our students return to mainstream schools with renewed confidence and skills. Using a relationship-based, trauma-informed teaching approach, you’ll help students become self-aware, engaged learners in a nurturing environment. Create and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
Provide trauma-informed instruction and individualized support to meet each student’s academic and emotional needs.
Monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, and assess performance through assignments, tests, and classwork.
Maintain accurate records, gradebooks, and required reports in compliance with school policies and regulations.
Establish and enforce clear classroom rules and procedures to support a safe, respectful learning environment.
Effectively integrate relevant technology and instructional materials to enhance student learning.
Communicate regularly with parents, attend scheduled events, and respond promptly to emails and school communications.
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills; able to collaborate effectively with therapists, nurses, and other professionals while modeling calm, confident leadership.
Trained or willing to be trained in CPI techniques to safely support students in crisis when necessary.
