Science Teacher

Pay: $52,472 - $56,972 per year based on experience

Location: Lake Ozark, MO
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, year round

Full time, On - Site position

• Teach middle and high-school Science in a nurturing, structured environment
• Provide individualized academic support to help each student succeed
• Create engaging, hands-on lessons that build confidence and spark curiosity
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (teachers, clinicians, residential staff)
• Build healthy, supportive relationships with students
• Maintain a safe, positive, and trauma-sensitive classroom

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field and a valid Missouri teaching certification, Science teaching certification strongly preferred
• Experience teaching Biology, Earth Science, Physical Science
• Special Education certification preferred or willingness to obtain a plus
• Experience supporting students with significant academic gaps and behavioral challenges
• Strong understanding of the behavioral components that impact learning
• Patient, adaptable, and collaborative educator with excellent communication and classroom management skills, especially in small group settings
• 21 years or older
• Able to pass state and federal background checks and drug screen
